• Business data you enter — clients, leads, projects, estimates, invoices, crew and partner records, and similar operational data.
• Payment information — handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your raw card details.
• Usage data — basic technical information (like error logs and IP address) used to keep the platform running and secure.

How we use it

We use the information above to:

• Provide and operate the platform you’ve signed up for
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send account-related emails (invoices, password resets, notifications you’ve opted into)
• Diagnose and fix technical problems
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data.

Third-party services we use

We rely on a small number of trusted vendors to run DeskBuilt: Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional email, Sentry for error monitoring, Neon for database hosting, and Vercel for application hosting. Each only receives the data necessary to perform its function.

Data retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we retain data for a reasonable period afterward in case you want to reactivate, then delete or anonymize it.

Your choices

You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by reaching out through your account’s support option. If you administer an agency or self-serve account, you can also update most of this information directly from your account settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
